Exam Information
Posted on October 15th, 2009 No commentsHi All,
I now have received confirmation that the Practical Exams will be taking place on Saturday 28th November 2009.
I have also received the times of your exams, but you will all receive them directly from me.
We have a total of 6 Weeks until the exams take place, so I hope you are all practicing hard.
I have had a few inquiries on how to practice the Aural (Spoken/Singing) Tests at home, for GRADE 1, play a note on your Piano/Keyboard (or get mum or dad to play the note) and then sing it back out loud, this will help train your ears to the pitch of each note. For GRADE 2, practice playing major & minor chords one after the other, to again help you ears recognize the difference between the two sounds, also you can practice playing the first 5 notes of the scales you are playing for your exam, then sing each note back to yourself one at a time. This all helps to train the ear to the different pitches of music, I will post information on the GRADE 3 Aural tests early next week when I have more information on what is required.
Keep Practicing!!!
Nicola
